Parexel has a unique opportunity for a VP, FSP Operational and Commercial Strategy to join our global team. The VP will drive the delivery of commercial and operational (revenue generating) strategy that supports Parexel FSP and corporate goals. This influential and highly visible role in a fast paced and highly complex environment requires strategic vision and tactical solutions, with the ability to work across the organization to support and drive strategies in business development, talent management, operational excellence, organizational design, and fiscal responsibility. The position also involves liaising with senior management and deputizing for the EVP, Global Head Parexel FSP when needed.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Drive the development and implementation of commercial FSP strategy to support Enterprise and Biotech NBA targets.
2. Develop and implement Strategic Plan Initiatives and revenue generation strategies in collaboration with the EVP.
3. Serve as FSP strategic business partner for Enterprise and Biotech Commercial teams.
4. Lead FSP sales training to support Enterprise Account and Biotech sales leads.
5. Support and attend commercial and client meetings to drive FSP growth.
6. Develop business cases, ROI analysis, and project management for new initiatives and investments.
7. Provide input and expertise with contracts and pricing aligning with business objectives and risk management.
8. Establish and maintain cross-departmental relationships to enable leadership success.
9. Serve as strategic advisor to the EVP, Global Head Parexel FSP and the FSP Leadership Team.
10. Manage implementation of FSP internal and external communication and marketing strategy.
11. Accountability to capture and integrate industry insights into Parexel FSP strategic and client initiatives.
12. Align process improvement, change management, and technology initiatives across FSP.
13. Evaluate emerging technologies and their potential impact on the industry.
14. Contribute as an active member of the FSP Leadership Team to meet business goals and implement company strategy.
15. Support sense of community and FSP culture across geographic regions and business units.

Knowledge and Experience:
25. 15+ years in life science industry, preferably in a CRO with both sales and operations background
26. Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of drug development, R&D outsourcing models, and vast experience in FSP models
27. Proven track record in business development, client relationship management, and closing deals
28. Successful history of preparing business plans, strategies, proposals, and client presentations
29. Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into tactical plans and communicate with stakeholders
30. Proven leadership experience in a globally structured, matrix organization
31. Experience in organizational analysis, process improvement, or change management (preferred)
Education:
32. Advanced degree in a scientific or technical discipline or MBA is preferred but not mandatory.
