Key - Health are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Manager for a children's residential service in Kent. This is an exciting leadership opportunity to manage a home supporting children with complex emotional and behavioural needs. If you're a Deputy Manager with experience in children's residential care, this could be your chance to step into a Registered Manager position. You will lead a dedicated team to ensure high standards of care, compliance with OFSTED regulations, and positive outcomes for the young people in your care. Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure compliance with OFSTED standards and regulations. Lead, manage, and develop a team of care staff, promoting professional growth and continuous learning. Implement, review, and update care plans for each child, ensuring a personalised, child-centred approach. Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed and any concerns are addressed swiftly. Foster strong relationships with families, local authorities, and external professionals to support positive outcomes. Maintain high standards of health and safety, risk management, and operational efficiency. What We’re Looking For: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent. Minimum 2 years’ experience managing an OFSTED-registered home with a GOOD rating. Experienced Deputy Managers in children’s residential care are encouraged to apply, provided you have leadership experience and a passion for developing young people. Strong understanding of emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) and experience supporting children with challenging behaviours. Knowledge of OFSTED regulations, safeguarding practices, and relevant legislation (Children’s Act 1989 & 2004). A compassionate and resilient leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Full UK driving licence is required.
