Housing Repairs Case Officer

We're seeking a skilled housing repairs specialist to join a busy and supportive team in Winchester. Ideally, you'll bring solid experience in property repairs cases, like damp and mould, along with excellent communication skills and a highly organised approach. If you're driven by helping others and delivering outstanding housing services, this permanent full‑time opportunity could be a great fit. This role is a mixture of office based and out in the community.
The Role
As a Case Officer, you will:
Offer clear advice, guidance, and support to residents on how to prevent and manage damp and mould in their homes.
Conduct home visits to diagnose problems, arrange appropriate treatments, and ensure effective solutions for damp, mould, and condensation issues.
Work closely with the wider housing team and colleagues across landlord services to secure the best outcomes for residents.
Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, contractors, and key stakeholders, helping to uphold the organisation's strong reputation as a trusted social housing provider.About You
We're looking for someone who:
Is proactive, motivated, and focused on finding solutions.
Has experience within social housing, property management or another high‑profile, customer‑centred environment.
Brings sound knowledge of property maintenance, damp treatment, and repairs processes.
Performs well under pressure and in time‑sensitive situations.
Shows excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to mediate, reassure, and manage varying expectations.
Has strong administrative abilities and excellent time management.
Is confident using housing management and/or asset management systems.
Holds a full driving licence and has access to their own vehicle.Benefits
