The Senior Charge Nurse role is to provide clinical leadership to the nursing team, ensuring high quality nursing care is being delivered. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills. We are looking for an experienced nurse who is driven with new ideas, has a passion to develop the service and implement change whilst maintaining a safe person-centred environment. The post holder will work closely with the MDT to ensure that high standards of care are developed, implemented, and maintained through clinical governance and policy adherence. They will also lead in the continued development of staff within the ward through education and training opportunities. This ensures safe and effective evidence-based care for patients whilst creating a positive learning environment. Potential applicants should have post registration experience within an acute inpatient setting. They should be willing to motivate and inspire a dynamic team, acting as a senior role model to the members of the multi-disciplinary team.
