Female Live in Support Worker
Pay rate: £1206.24 per week
Shift Pattern: 1 week on and 1 week off.
We're looking for a compassionate and experienced live-in carer to support an amazing individual in their family home in Guisborough .This person is more than their brain injury and epilepsy - they love spending time with their Labrador, getting pampered at the hair salon, enjoying a pub lunch, staying active at the gym, and taking leisurely walks. We're seeking someone who can share in their passions and help them live life to the fullest.
As a live-in carer, you'll be an integral part of their daily life, providing support and companionship in the comfort of their own home. You'll have your own private accommodation and be available to provide care and support as needed.To support this individual effectively, you'll need to draw on your previous experience in healthcare, bringing your skills and compassion to the role.If you're looking for a challenging and rewarding role that allows you to make a real difference in someone's life, and you're comfortable with the idea of living in, we'd love to hear from you.
What youll be doing
As a Support Worker, youll play an important role in helping this individual live safely, comfortably, and in a way that reflects their preferences. Your day might include:
Providing high-quality support on a 1 :1 basis
Creating opportunities for meaningful activities at home and in the community
Encouraging social interaction and promoting emotional wellbeing
Supporting communication in the way that works best for them
Helping with routine household tasks to maintain a calm, organised environment
This is a role where your presence genuinely makes a difference every day.
