Are you ready to take the lead on critical water infrastructure projects? We’re seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to deliver innovative design solutions for water and wastewater schemes that support sustainability and resilience.
What you’ll do:
âś” Produce mechanical design calculations and drawings for water industry projects
âś” Mentor CAD technicians and junior designers
âś” Prepare scopes, reports, and specifications
âś” Liaise with suppliers and subcontract M&E design teams
âś” Ensure compliance with technical and professional standards
âś” Present designs at meetings and client reviews
What we’re looking for:
🔹 10+ years’ mechanical design experience in the UK water sector
🔹 Strong hydraulic design expertise
🔹 Awareness of electrical design and control systems
🔹 Registered with a professional body and working toward chartership
Preferred:
âś… Chartered Engineer status
âś… Experience in wastewater and clean water projects
âś… Familiarity with water schemes, infra/non-infra designs
