Group Executive Head Chef
We are recruiting an exclusive contract-based Head Chef to oversee a flagship operation in Edinburgh that encompasses retail, hospitality, hotel, and fine dining sites. The team includes a modern restaurant, a premium sandwich concept, a beverage bar, a 70‑bedroom hotel with a 300‑capacity conference centre, and multiple hospitality locations.
Your focus will be to work closely with your teams to build strong working relationships and together provide outstanding customer service. You will bring exceptional food catering experience, excellent presentation, organisational and communication skills, and a passion for food and service.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Senior Head Chef in a multi‑site or regional capacity responsible for all food‑related matters.
* Hands‑on leader, able to invest in team development, with strong leadership and people development skills.
* A passion for fresh, seasonal, locally sourced food, driving innovative and creative menus that are driven by excellence.
* Financially astute with a good understanding of GP calculation and strong IT literacy.
* Outgoing and vibrant, displaying a real passion for food and customer service.
* Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
* Comfortable in both corporate and creative food environments.
* Excellent Health & Safety knowledge.
* Innovative and creative, driven by excellence.
