CI214790 - Specialty Registrar LAT (ST4) in Anaesthetics
Applications are invited for two LAT posts within the North of Scotland Anaesthetic Training Programme. These posts are offered at ST4 level, with potential consideration at a lower level (CT).
Duration: Six months from 6 August 2025 to 3 February 2026.
Salary: CT - £45,504-£60,199 per annum; ST - £45,504-£71,550 per annum.
Locations: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, Aberdeen, or Raigmore Hospital, Inverness, based on the needs of the applicant and training program.
Requirements: 24 months UK experience in Anaesthesia, including Initial Assessment of Competence and Obstetric Anaesthesia. Candidates with over 18 months experience may be considered for Stage 1 level.
Programme Overview: Both hospitals offer comprehensive surgical specialties, maternity, paediatric services, and specialized units like cardiothoracic and neurosurgery at Aberdeen. Opportunities for teaching and involvement in medical education are available.
