We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our busy team that provides quality service to the manufacturing team.
You will demonstrate safe working practices by dynamically assessing tasks to ensure your safety and that of your colleagues and working alongside external sub-contractors to maintain plant reliability while considering the environment by eliminating waste and wasteful processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for all engineering repairs, preventative maintenance and project work undertaken to a high standard within PGUK
2. By maintaining such records, you contribute to the planned preventive maintenance system database and a stock control system for the engineering stores.
3. To ensure the efficient and safe running of all plant machinery, adhere to all health & safety regulations, including referencing and reviewing risk assessments.
4. To provide appropriate quality service to enable manufacturing to achieve budgeted targets and improve operational efficiencies and capabilities.
5. Recommend and implement improvements to optimise energy efficiency, including sourcing and developing new plant equipment.
