Role
Employability Coach (35 hours)
The Foundation is seeking three highly motivated individuals to fulfil the exciting role of Employability Coach as part of the Skills Team.
Through our pioneering facility, the Beacon of Light, it is the Foundation’s ambition to develop the education, employability and skills pathways for families across Sunderland, South Tyneside and County Durham through quality delivery.
Working with the Skills team, you will deliver on the Employability Programmes, engaging young people and adults in employability support, both in 1-2-1 mentoring and small group sessions. You may also be asked to deliver on 19+ Adult Skills Programmes or Youth Skills Programmes.
You will have the ability to engage young people and adults who are economically inactive or unemployed, and to support them with moving closer to employment and/or into sustainable employment.
The base for the post is the Beacon of Light, with delivery across Sunderland, South Tyneside and County Durham.
