Uxbridge College's new SEND centre, based at Barra Hall in Hayes, will open in September 2025.
This welcoming new campus will provide a high-quality, inclusive learning environment for over 60 SEND students and aim to improve outcomes for students with special educational needs, including those with severe learning needs (SLD).
Barra Hall will feature modern, accessible facilities across two floors, including on-site therapies, medical services, and multidisciplinary teams such as Speech and Language Therapy, Physiotherapy, and Occupational Therapy.
We have exciting opportunities for Speech and Language Therapists to join our team and make a positive impact on our learners' lives. We are seeking individuals interested in part-time work, on an hourly or day rate, for 1 or 2 days per week, term time only.

Key Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of learners' speech, language, and communication needs.
* Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for learners.
* Provide one-to-one and small group therapy sessions.
* Support, guide, and train Support Staff in implementing therapy plans.
* Collaborate with clients, families, and other professionals to achieve therapy goals.
* Work with teaching and support staff to embed speech and language therapies into curriculum delivery.
* Monitor and track client progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary, and provide reports for the Annual Review process.
* Maintain accurate records of assessments, treatment plans, and session outcomes.
You Will Need To Possess
* A recognized qualification in Speech and Language Therapy.
* HCPC registration is essential.
* Experience working with relevant client groups is desirable.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for helping others.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
