Trade Counter Assistant – Dungannon – Bassetts

Responsibilities
* Assist customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product advice and recommendations
* Proactively engage with both new and existing customers to maximise sales opportunities and build strong customer relationships
* Handle customer phone calls and emails with a positive and proactive approach, building strong relationships and ensuring exceptional customer service
* Carry out general warehouse duties, including picking and packing customer orders and unpacking stock to be booked into our system and put away in the warehouse, which involves manual handling of heavy stock such as toilets, sinks, boilers and radiators
Qualifications
* Plumbing industry experience is preferential
* Experience working in a busy trade counter environment
* Proven experience in face‑to‑face sales and customer service
* Dependable team player, prepared to support in all areas of the branch with a strong work ethic
* Eagerness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude
This is a full‑time, permanent role working 42.5 hours per week: Monday–Wednesday 07:30–17:00, Thursday 07:30–20:00 (rotating), Friday 07:30–16:00.
