The provision will begin with a small group of pupils with communication and interaction needs, growing gradually over the year. Your new role
We are looking for an experienced SEND teacher to join the SRP on a supply basis for the autumn term. You will help establish the provision, set up routines and deliver personalised learning for four pupils in Early Years and Key Stage One. You'll work alongside a dedicated SRP Teaching Assistant, plan adapted lessons, track progress and ensure EHCP outcomes shape daily practice. This temporary role offers the opportunity to apply for the permanent position when it is re‑advertised for a January 2027 start.
What you'll need to succeed
Qualified Teacher Status
Strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice
Ability to plan and adapt lessons for pupils with varied needs
Experience working with EHCP‑led provision
Confident behaviour management and a calm, nurturing approach
Strong communication with families and external professionals
Organised, resilient and able to work collaboratively
