Part-Time 21 hrs The Role Values in Action Scotland (VIAS) is recruiting for the post of Facilitator (Quality Improvement Team), based in Hillington. Reporting to the Development Lead, this exciting opportunity will give the role holder scope to help VIAS to expand delivery of our Quality Improvement Service. This will grow and develop the organisation’s commitment to disabled people, in particular, people with learning disabilities and/ or autism gaining and sustaining paid employment. The Candidate The successful candidate will support the Lead Consultant (Quality Improvement Team) to coordinate, administer and deliver training, evaluation and consultancy in line with VIAS strategy. They will support them to manage relationships with customers and consultants and explore new business opportunities. The successful candidate will be confident in their ability to deliver successful outcomes to improve the lives of people with learning disabilities and/ or autism and to improve the quality of services. Previous experience delivering training and facilitating groups is also an essential feature of this work. The successful candidate will have the ability to work with a range of stakeholders, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills and an aptitude for building and nurturing successful partnerships. Ideally with experience of working to specified targets and income generation, candidates may also benefit from previous knowledge and understanding of issues and activities that relate to people with learning disabilities and/or autism. Main Purpose of Job Support the Lead Consultant (quality) to coordinate, administer and deliver training, evaluation and consultancy in line with VIAS strategy Support the Lead Consultant (quality) manage relationships with customers and consultants Support the Lead Consultant (quality) explore new business opportunities Duties and Responsibilities Strategic Support the Lead Consultant (quality) to develop, implement and review the quality business plan in line with VIAS’s strategy and to meet the changing needs of the sector Support the Lead Consultant (quality) to establish and maintain good relationships with a range of relevant stakeholders, and represent VIAS in external meetings Support the Lead Consultant (quality) to monitor and evaluate developing trends in the business sector that will need to be supported by developing knowledge and skills within the workforce Support the Lead Consultant (quality) to develop appropriate networking relationships that will enhance the job role and the business opportunities available for VIAS Operational Support the Lead Consultant (quality) to develop and deliver high quality products to ensure that people with learning disabilities and/ or autism are meaningfully included in society Support the Lead Consultant (quality) to manage the co-production function, including maintaining positive relationships with existing Consultants and securing new Consultants to broaden expertise and services offered Support the Lead Consultant (quality) to develop and maintain strong customer relationships with businesses Support the Lead Consultant (quality) to ensure any risks are identified, responded to promptly and escalated to the CEO Support the Lead Consultant (quality) to ensure compliance with awarding and accrediting body requirements, ensuring all necessary evidence of quality processes and systems are in place Administrative Support the Lead Consultant (quality) to undertake an annual Training Needs Analysis and follow up training impact assessment with customers Support the Lead Consultant (quality) to develop an annual training calendar offering a diverse range of courses Support the Lead Consultant (quality) to promote quality products and services through various means, including networking and digital media e.g. website;
