Behaviour Support Assistant Location: Failsworth, Greater Manchester Salary: Dependent on experience Contract: Full-time Start Date: Immediate start A thriving all-through specialist school (ages 4-18) in North Manchester is looking to appoint a compassionate, patient, and resilient Behaviour Support Assistant to support students across KS3-KS4. Whether you are an experienced support assistant or a psychology graduate looking to build meaningful school-based experience, this role will allow you to make a genuine impact from the very start of 2026. About the Role As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will: Support teachers in creating a positive, engaging, and safe learning environment Work 1:1 with students and lead small-group interventions Help pupils build confidence, regulate behaviour, and make academic progress Implement effective behaviour strategies under the guidance of teaching and SEN staff Contribute to a supportive, team-focused school cultureThis role is ideal for candidates who thrive in dynamic environments and are passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning.
