Brook Street are working with a highly reputable company in the creative arts sector, who are looking to appoint a Part-time Finance Officer on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be joining a small team and will need to have attributes and qualities of someone who can work with a close knit team as well as on their own.
This role is offering 21 hours/week which can be worked flexibly over 3-5 days/week, on a flexible hybrid basis. Candidates who apply must be able to demonstrate their experience in using sage, as well as have an employment history that evidences experience in a similar role.
Key Responsibilities
* Processing payroll for approximately 20 staff
* Preparing weekly pay runs
* Managing pre-payments, accruals, and trial balances
* Producing management accounting reports for the board
* Monitoring invoices and bank reconciliations
* Supporting audit preparations
* Attend company meetings
What We're Looking For
* Experience in accounts or finance, ideally with exposure to payroll and management accounting
* Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
* Good communication skills
* Experience with Sage products
