Job Introduction

As a conference and banqueting assistant your job role will involve supporting C&B Supervisors in the day to day operation of the department, looking after conferences, weddings, events and private celebrations.

During this period we are looking for commitment to seasonal hours which be worked at weekends and Christmas Day (paid x 2) and Boxing Day (paid x1.5)

Role Responsibility

The Conference & Banqueting Assistant will be responsible for…

1. Ensuring that every guest receives a warm greeting upon arrival
2. Delivering the highest standards in conference and banqueting service
3. Exercising an eye for detail, consistently delivering service with a sense of pride, purpose and precision
4. Ensuring correct set up of function rooms and public areas maintaining the highest standards
5. Service of food and beverage items during each event
6. Anticipating guests needs, responding promptly, creating solutions to any issues that may arise
7. Maintain a harmonious relationship with other staff members
