Position Overview: Tumbler Driver
The primary responsibility of our Tumbler Driver team is to prepare, lubricate, and deliver raw materials to production lines. The role involves safely operating Pedestrian Lift Trucks to move materials as required by production.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Observe all company quality, environmental, health, and safety regulations.
2. Perform safety checks and operate stacker trucks and other equipment safely.
3. Operate tumbling equipment and prepare slugs for production lines L57, L58, and L59 according to company procedures.
4. Deliver slugs, packaging, and other materials to the production line in a timely manner.
5. Remove pallets of scrap and other materials from the line.
6. Support production activities, including cleaning, break cover, and maintenance.
7. Handover to the incoming operator and communicate the status of the lines.
8. Manage waste disposal and maintain a clean workspace.
9. Maintain accurate records as per Ball Aerosol Packaging requirements.
10. Adhere to ISO 9001 and BRC standards.
11. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes or products.
Work Schedule:
This is a shift role with a rotating schedule:
* 4 weeks on days (6 am - 6 pm)
* 4 weeks on nights (6 pm - 6 am)
The weekly rotation is as follows:
* Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
* Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday
