New Directions Education is looking for caring, enthusiastic and reliable unqualified Teaching Assistants to work across primary schools in Wirral and Ellesmere Port. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone with experience in SEND, care, or support work to bring their skills into the classroom and make a real difference to children’s learning and development.
Locations: Wirral & Ellesmere Port
Start Date: January 2026
Roles: Part-time, full-time, ad hoc and long-term opportunities
About the Role:
You’ll be working alongside class teachers and support staff to provide tailored support to children, helping them engage with their learning and achieve their potential. No formal TA qualification is required, just experience, dedication, and a genuine passion for helping children succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
– Supporting children with SEND or additional needs
– Assisting with classroom activities, learning tasks, and small groups
– Building positive relationships with pupils, teachers, and families
– Helping create an inclusive, nurturing, and structured environment
– Adapting support to meet individual needs
We’re Looking For:
– Experience in SEND, care, or support work
– A genuine passion for helping children succeed
– Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
– Reliable, adaptable, and proactive approach
– Ability to work as part of a team and follow guidance
