Key Responsibilities:
* Technical Advisor to the Sales and Presales Regional Leadership Team
1. Advise on the impact of product launches and roadmap changes to regional revenue plans and resource allocation.
2. Provide thought leadership to presales, sales, and customer success stakeholders within Tableau to drive new ways of selling and propositions that allow us to access new scalable opportunities.
Customer Focus
* Serve as the Tech Exec sponsor on strategic accounts.
* Work with customer executive stakeholders to understand business drivers and challenges, define industry priorities, validate go-to-market propositions, and support strategic business opportunities.
* Develop long-term peer-to-peer relationships with key customer stakeholders and act as the technical executive stakeholder for strategic deals.
Evangelism
* Present at industry events and tell compelling stories about our point of view to the market.
Product and GTM Focus
* Create technical advocacy forums for senior technical stakeholders in specific focus customer verticals and partner communities.
* Contribute partner and customer insights and industry-based expertise to GTM planning and product management.
* Provide regional feedback regarding capability gaps and roadmap changes, advising product management and development on their impact to regional revenue plans and market opportunities.
Partner Focus
* Own the regional CTO-level relationship with key Technology Partners, System Integrators, and Resellers.
* Engage with counterparts in our partner ecosystem to identify priorities, technical synergies, and provide thought leadership on joint go-to-market propositions.
Experience will be evaluated based on alignment to the core competencies for the role (e.g., extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer work, etc.).
