Job summary:
As an Associate Account Director, you will be responsible for excellence in delivery across projects within medium-to-large and often complex client accounts. You will provide strategic counsel, manage project execution, and oversee a cross-functional team alongside the account lead or sponsor.
Stepping up from the Senior Account Manager role, you will take a leadership role, guiding your team, maintaining client satisfaction, and seeking growth opportunities.
Responsibilities:
* Manage client relationships and set expectations
* Oversee multiple projects within at least two client accounts, ensuring alignment with overall strategy
* Deliver high-quality work on time and within budget
* Troubleshoot client challenges and manage challenging conversations
* Challenge clients when necessary to ensure quality
* Stay informed about clients' business and external factors
* Develop objectives and strategies for new work
* Maintain proactive contact with clients and mentor team members
* Facilitate meetings and workshops
* Identify and sell new ideas for organic growth and new business opportunities
* Support new business processes and internal planning
* Lead and develop your team, fostering a positive culture
* Manage financial aspects including budgets, forecasts, and invoicing
* Ensure account profitability and address issues like scope creep
* Contribute to internal initiatives and stay updated on industry best practices
Required skills and experience:
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Proficient in data communication and presentation development
* Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of delivering quality work on schedule and budget
* Previous line management experience
* High energy and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
