You'll work within cross‑functional agile teams, involved from requirements elicitation to delivery of high‑quality technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and frameworks.
* Provide technical leadership and guidance to automation engineers.
* Evaluate and integrate automation tools and frameworks into the development lifecycle.
* Enhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient, reliable automated builds, tests, and deployments.
* Provide training, mentoring, and share knowledge on automation tools and best practices within QA and across the organisation.
What will you bring to the role?
We are looking for someone passionate about test and automation, with experience in complex software development environments and similar roles. You should be collaborative, a good problem solver, capable of making decisions based on analysis and experience.
Key Skills
* Excellent understanding of the software development lifecycle, architecture, and technologies.
* Experience in a development environment, ideally within an enterprise context.
* Specialist testing skills (performance, security, usability, accessibility) mandatory; code literacy with scripting and database querying skills.
* Strong test automation programming skills (API, UI) in Selenium.
* Strong test automation programming skills in SQL, Java, and J‑Unit.
* In-depth knowledge of CI/CD practices.
* Strong knowledge and experience of test‑driven approaches (ATDD, BDD, TDD).
* Demonstrated automation‑first mentality, balancing automated, exploratory, functional, and non‑functional testing.
