Loom Talent are delighted to be supporting with the appointment of a Fuel Systems Engineer for a leading client.
Our client is a leader in fuel distribution with a network that extends across the UK. The role will primarily be based at Heathrow but will involve regular travel to other terminals and depot locations across the Southeast.
As Fuel Systems Engineer you will take ownership for the planning, effectiveness, processes, safety and compliance of all aspects of the Company Fuel Management Systems.
* Compliance, maintenance and safe operation of fuel stations across the network.
* Support the Fleet and Infrastructure Manager with managing the UK based and overseas contracts and suppliers.
* Ownership and subject matter expert of our flagship RFID fuel management system (hardware and software)
* Maintaining the Fuel Management Systems, coordinating projects and engineering sub-contractors
* Service and maintenance of all fuelling systems
* Be the SME of other systems linked to fuel distribution and management
* Ensure H&S standards are always prioritised, complete site surveys, assessing risks and potential hazards.
* Ensure all internal Safe Systems of Work (SSoW), Permits of Work and detail job specifications are completed
* Ensure all operations are in compliance with regulations and customer business needs.
* Manage projects to guarantee timely, safe and cost effective completion.
Candidates wishing to be considered should meet the following requirements:
* Background in Systems Engineering, specific Fuel Management Systems experience highly desirable.
* Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities to diagnose and resolve complex and technical issues effectively.
* Technical knowledge of interpreting technical design drawings and specifications.
* Ability to operate fuel monitoring and telemetry systems.
* Ability to analyse data and format into useable management information.
* Able to use digital job management systems, service reports, and intermediate MS Office tools.
* Health & Safety management process experience.
