As a Quality Improvement Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high‑quality early learning and childcare across South Ayrshire. You will provide strategic guidance and professional leadership to Early Learning and Childcare settings, primary and secondary schools within a cluster.
Working closely with senior officers, headteachers, teachers, early years practitioners, partners and local communities, you will drive continuous improvement and champion excellence across our education services.

REQUIREMENTS
This post is considered to be Regulated Work with children as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act 2007. Accordingly, the preferred candidate will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update if already a Scheme member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made. The Grade of this post is within the Quality Improvement Officer (QIO) Scale with an annual salary from £76,218 - £85,047.
The work style for this post is Hybrid.
The successful candidate will be required to work flexibly between home and the office and the frequency for attending the office may vary depending on the exigencies of the service.
