Health & Safety Advisor £18.46 per hour – Wrexham 37.5 hours per week – Temporary Role Overview The client is looking for a proactive and knowledgeable Health & Safety Advisor to strengthen and support the site’s health and safety management system. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with company standards, driving continuous improvement, and promoting a strong, positive safety culture across all operations. Key Responsibilities Support the implementation, maintenance and ongoing development of the site’s health and safety management system in line with company policies and standards. Plan, coordinate and carry out internal audits and site inspections to assess safety performance and identify areas for improvement. Lead detailed risk assessments, highlighting potential hazards and establishing robust control measures. Develop, oversee and deliver risk reduction and improvement initiatives. Champion safe working practices by setting a positive example and encouraging safe behaviours across the workforce. Requirements NEBOSH National General Certificate (essential); studying toward or holding NEBOSH Diploma (desirable). Strong understanding of UK health and safety legislation, regulations and best practice. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a strategic, improvement‑focused mindset.
