The role:
We are looking for a skilled Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer to lead and innovate in the development of complex mechanisms. This role involves 3D CAD design (SolidWorks), engineering analysis, material selection, and manufacturing processes, ensuring high-quality, reliable solutions. You will collaborate across disciplines, lead design reviews, support production, and liaise with customers and suppliers to drive project success. If you have a passion for precision engineering, problem-solving, and technical leadership, this is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact.
What we want from you:
* A degree in Mechanical Engineering is essential.
* Experience in designing complex mechanisms and structures for harsh environments, ideally within the defence industry.
* Proven ability to lead the full design lifecycle, from concept development to production.
* Strong analytical skills for designing gear drives, bearings, and motor systems.
* Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD for 3D modeling and design.
