We are recruiting for a Housing Officer for an organisation in the Halifax area to start immediately.
Initially this position is a temporary role for 3 months, although this could be considerable longer and has potential to become a permanent job.
In order to be considered for this role you must have experience working in Social Housing. It is also essential that you drive and have access to your own vehicle.
Some of the key duties will include;
* Work with the housing manager to provide advice and support to vulnerable tenants suffering with regard to neighbour disputes, harassment and any other housing related occupancy issues e.g. security
* Complete risk assessments of properties
* Responsible for Anti Social Behaviour / Neighbourhood disputes
* Void properties
* Re-lets
