Job Title: Trainee Project Manager
Location: Peterborough
Salary: £26,000 per annum + 20 days holidays + Bank Holidays

Excellent opportunity for a Trainee Project Manager to join a reputable Peterborough-based company, in a role that offers progression and industry-recognised training opportunities. The company prides itself on delivering a high-quality service to all clients and has developed long-term business relationships, supporting a period of expansion.
Responsibilities
* Shadow senior staff and oversee adaptation and commercial projects varying in size and value, ensuring they are completed to a high standard and H&S compliant.
* Be the Customer's point of contact for all projects under your control; projects monitored and directed by the Contracts Manager & Head of Operations.
* Plan projects including arranging materials with the purchasing department, writing method statements and risk assessments, and organising labour.
* Deliver the high service demanded by our customers by acting in good faith and as required by Westone Housing to promote the success of the company and maintain high standards of business conduct.
* Raise work orders for assigned contractors; ensure H&S on all sites under your control.
* Complete site surveys, monitoring visits and work with our SHEQ Manager to ensure projects are completed to a high standard.
* Raise variations on projects as they develop and arrange building control for projects.
* Manage project budgets and assist with completing final accounts with the accounts department to ensure swift payments on projects completed.
About you / Qualifications
* Experience of the construction industry would be beneficial but not essential.
* Excellent problem-solving, planning and process-control skills.
* Ability to prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Strong interpersonal and organisational skills; clear thinker and innovator; strong process-oriented approach.
* Self-motivated and proactive.
* Must have: Clean Driving Licence.
