Job Description Summary
The Analytics, Insights, and Reporting team supports the Homes business by driving strategic decision-making through data excellence and actionable insights. We ensure customer-centric, fair, and sustainable returns through market-leading analytical capabilities.

Responsibilities
* Strategic Leadership and Vision: Define and drive the data analytics and insight strategy aligned to business goals, leading the transition to modern insight methods, software tooling and analytical capability.
* Own and deliver the next phase of our insight strategy empowering teams with new ways to create and access insight.
* Work across the Group to harness the best of the Group’s data, insight, tooling and AI capabilities and bring into the Homes strategy.
* Data Analysis & Insight Generation: Oversee the identification of key trends, patterns, and insights from internal and external data sets.
* Translate insight into clear, compelling narratives and recommendations for executive leadership.
* Ensure insights are timely, relevant, and drive business improvement and innovation.
* Reporting & Dashboard Development: Lead the creation, automation, and enhancement of reporting tools and dashboards (e.g., using Power BI, Tableau, and new / emerging tools).
* Ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of all business reports and KPIs.
* Standardize reporting frameworks across departments and business units.
* Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a high-performing team through stretching performance objectives, constructive feedback, and coaching.
* Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making across the mortgages business.
About You
* Proven experience creating actionable insight that supports strategy development and tactical decision making.
* Experience in leading large-scale transformation projects, proficiency in data engineering, and a strong background in change management.
* Strong people leadership and interpersonal skills – you will inspire and empower an inclusive team, stretch, coach, and develop to improve performance and provide a great team environment.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and presentation abilities.
* Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
