Job Title: Overhead Line (OH) Trainer
Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Overhead Line Engineer to join our team as a Trainer. The successful candidate will bring in-depth knowledge of OH line electrical networks, practical experience in installation, maintenance, and refurbishment, and strong familiarity with the tools and techniques used in the field. This role focuses on developing and upskilling employees, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver training on the installation and maintenance of overhead line networks.
* Provide guidance on conducting inspections and assessments of existing infrastructure.
* Instruct employees on the safe and effective use of hand and power tools.
* Train teams in excavation and groundwork required for installation projects.
* Support collaboration with engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration.
* Promote and enforce adherence to safety regulations and industry best practices.
* Ensure accurate documentation of all work, including modifications and repairs.
Experience & Skills Required
* Proven background in linesman or overhead line engineering roles.
* Strong understanding of construction techniques and industry practices.
* Skilled in the safe use of hand tools and power tools.
* Knowledge of excavation and site preparation methods.
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for complex OH line issues.
* A proactive and committed approach to safety and regulatory compliance.
