Millfield School is seeking a well‑organised and proactive LSC Administrator to provide vital administrative support to the Learning Support Centre (LSC).
Working closely with the Head of LSC and the wider team, you will provide comprehensive administrative support, acting as a key point of contact for LSC related queries and ensuring accurate, well maintained records at all times.
Responsibilities
* Providing day‑to‑day administrative support to the Learning Support Centre, including diary management, meeting scheduling and preparation of paperwork.
* Maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date student records, files, documentation and data across school systems, ensuring confidentiality at all times.
* Supporting LSC meetings and student reviews, including preparing agendas, circulating documentation and taking notes where required.
* Acting as a key administrative contact for LSC enquiries, liaising with teaching, pastoral staff and relevant professionals to support effective coordination and information sharing.
* Supporting the administration of exam access arrangements and related processes, particularly during busy assessment periods.
Personal attributes
You will be a well‑organised and reliable administrator with strong attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately. You will be confident using IT systems, able to manage a varied workload, particularly during busy exam periods. You will communicate clearly and professionally, prioritise effectively to meet deadlines, and work well both independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
Experience in an educational, SEN, examinations or student support environment, and knowledge of learning support processes or exam access arrangements, would be an advantage.
Working hours and salary
* 24 hours per week, spread across Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
* Term time only
* £11,521.77 per annum, inclusive of holiday pay
