As a well-established, successful law firm based in sunny East Sussex, where they handle everything from complex conveyancing to keeping your coffee supply strong. they're looking for a skilled Fee-Earning Conveyancer to jump into our busy office, bring in a bit of extra energy, and help keep things moving smoothly.
The Role:
As a Fee-Earning Conveyancer, you'll manage your own caseload of residential property transactions from the first hello to the last signature. Were talking sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity so if you know your way around title checks and can conduct a search like Sherlock, you're our type. You'll be working closely with the partner, who brings in a steady stream of work, meaning you'll have plenty of chances to shine and hone your skills.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Caseload Hero: Guide clients through their property transactions from start to finish with a mix of efficiency and charm.
* Smooth Talker: Keep clients, estate agents, and everyone else in the loop.
* Conveyancing Connoisseur: Handle title checks, searches, contracts, exchanges, and completions like a pro.
* Client Care Extraordinaire: Keep clients happy and keep relationships strong they'll thank you for it.
* Marketing Sidekick: Help with the odd business development task, maybe attend a networking event or two.
What Were Looking For:
* A Qualified Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer with at least 1 year of PQE in conveyancing enough to know your way around, but not too much that you're tired of it all!
* Solid grasp of the conveyancing process. (We mean solid, not Ill Google it level.)
* Great communication and client care skills; people like you, and you like them right back.
* Ability to keep a cool head under tight deadlines.
* Proactive and self-motivated; you dont need someone to remind you that "deadlines are a thing."
* Team player who can also fly solo when needed.
* Strong IT skills; ideally, you're no stranger to case management software.
