Deloitte's Investment Management & Wealth Operations and Domain Solutions (IM&W ODS) team offers end-to-end transformation services to clients in the Investment Management & Wealth sector. We combine deep knowledge of the industry and its challenges with technology and vendor platform capability, operations expertise and delivery excellence in order to support our clients through the full transformation lifecycle; centered around the core of their business and enabled by technology.
A key growth area within our IM&W team is Real Estate, we are looking for people to join our team with experience of working in or advising Real Estate firms transform their business. Our clients include Real Estate Investment Managers, and Developer/Operators.

We are looking for an Operations Transformation leader within Deloitte's Real Estate practice. In this role you will design and deliver innovative solutions that transform Real Estate operations. Collaborating with business stakeholders, you'll translate needs into detailed solutions, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and strategy. Your expertise in Real Estate operations and emerging trends will be crucial in driving innovation and delivering impactful results for our clients. Our clients are typically looking to optimize their operations functions to deliver and scale efficiently and leverage new technologies to optimise their operations.
As an Associate Director, you will work as part of a team of industry specialists in our practice and have the opportunity to learn from the best in the business. Key responsibilities of the role include:
* Build upon your existing industry knowledge to become an expert in your field.
* Focus on the delivery of client work that will successfully fulfil and exceed client expectations and deliver engagement and programme objectives.
* Take a leading role on projects, managing and developing our more junior team members.
* Design and lead implementation of innovative solutions that optimise and transform Real Estate operations across the value chain.
* Provide technical leadership throughout the solution development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to implementation.
* Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, particularly in areas such as AI/GenAI, automation, and data analytics, to identify opportunities for innovation within Real Estate technology and operations.
* Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and high performance while providing guidance on career progression.
* Contribute to the growth of the practice\'s thought leadership by developing insightful content and perspectives on emerging trends in Real Estate Operations.
* Champion diversity and inclusion within the team and contribute to broader practice development initiatives.
* Lead business development work such as pre-sales, bid preparation and client presentations.
* Participate in internal Deloitte practice development activities to assist the growth of the Real Estate practice including supporting the firm\'s commitment to creating a more diverse and inclusive culture.

We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate individuals, with proven experience, who are driving change and real impact for the Real Estate sector. The ideal candidate would have experience in Consulting or working in an internal Change / Transformation function within a Real Estate firm.
We are looking for independent thinkers who also thrive as part of a team, with excellent communication and presentation skills. Someone who enjoys solving new and complex problems and challenging themselves to work in new fields to contribute to market facing propositions, client engagements and internal initiatives. Dedicated to learning and staying up to date with emerging market and industry trends.
Professional experience needs to include:
* Extensive experience in the UK real estate sector, with a strong understanding of challenges and opportunities facing operations functions within the industry.
* Proven track record of successfully leading and operations-focussed projects, including operating model, process optimisation and efficiency initiatives.
* Proven ability to mobilise, manage and motivate teams, establishing the specific day-to-day plans, projects and objectives needed.
* Experience in people management, able to lead people and organise work to deliver for our clients.
* Experience of guiding and coaching junior talent through challenging situations and providing honest and constructive development points.
* Experience in leading client relationships and managing key stakeholders to resolve issues and articulate complex ideas.
* Have a broader perspective of potential issues encountered when working in, and managing, diverse teams and the strategies to overcome them and a clear understanding of the firm\'s commitment to creating a more inclusive culture.
* Understand risk, how to mitigate risk and protect the firm\'s reputation.
Preferably you will also have:
* Experience in implementing AI-driven solution within the Real Estate lifecycle is highly desirable.
* Experience in selection and/or implementation of key Real Estate technologies (e.g. Yavica, MRI, Yardi, etc).

Regulation and controls are standard practice in our industry and Deloitte is no exception. These controls provide important legal protection for both you and the firm. We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints (e.g., in relation to any financial interests and employment relationships). This can mean that you and your "Immediate Family Members" are not permitted to hold certain financial interests (shares, funds, bonds etc.) with audit clients of the firm, and also prohibitions on certain employment relationships (e.g., you are not permitted to hold a secondary employment role with SEC audit clients of the firm whilst being employed by the firm).
