Job summary
The Lakes Medical Practice invites applications from both experienced and newly qualified GPs to join our friendly team. We are an innovative, supportive, CQC outstanding-rated training practice with an expanding list size of approximately 11,500 patients. We are also part of a forward-thinking Primary Care Network comprising 10 practices.
Flexible working arrangements may be available for the right candidate, offering a good work-life balance. We are seeking applications from those interested in working 6-8 sessions per week.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will manage a diverse caseload and address a wide range of health needs within a primary care setting, maintaining high standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.
In accordance with the Practice rota, duties include surgery consultations, telephone consultations, home visits, signing and checking repeat prescriptions, and handling queries, paperwork, and correspondence.
About us
We are an innovative multidisciplinary partnership currently comprising 2 GPs, a Senior Nurse, supported by a Practice Manager.
Our clinical team includes salaried GPs, Nurse Practitioners, Physicians Associates, Paramedics, Practice Nurses, HCAs, and Phlebotomists. We have knowledgeable administrative staff and are very supportive of professional development and portfolio careers. We hold weekly clinical discussions for peer support.
We are part of Eden PCN, providing integrated care for an aging population, including care coordinators, first contact physiotherapists, and social prescribers for both young people and adults.
