Nursery Nurse – Primary school in Maidstone area
Calling all imaginative sidekicks, snack-time connoisseurs, and bedtime-story enthusiasts, we're on the hunt for a Nursery Assistant who's equal parts warm-hearted human and pint-sized hero wrangler. At our nursery in Maidstone, the days are delightfully unpredictable, one minute you're building a rocket out of cardboard boxes, the next you're helping a miniature Picasso express their inner unicorn with finger paints. And yes, glitter will happen. A lot.
Contract: Full time, starting ASAP
Salary: £95 - £105 per day
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging activities that support children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
* Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all children.
* Observe and assess children's progress, keeping accurate records.
* Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
* Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are followed at all times.
Requirements:
* Need to have Level 3 childcare qualification or be working towards one.
o Experience working with children in an early-years setting within the last 2 years
o Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
o Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
o A commitment to providing high-quality care and education.
