Teaching Assistant
Job Type: Long-term supply, potential for permanent
We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a Teaching Assistant at a friendly and welcoming special school located in the rural village of Compton, West Sussex. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs. No previous experience as a Teaching Assistant is required, making this a great opportunity for those looking to start a career in education.
Support children aged 7 to 16 years who have Autism (ASD), ADHD, Social and Emotional Mental Health Issues (SEMH), or communication issues.
Assist in the development and implementation of educational and behavioural plans.
Monitor and support the children’s social and academic progress.
Engage with children in a variety of educational activities designed to enhance their learning and well-being.
A positive mindset and a willingness to support children with Special Educational Needs.
Must be a driver with access to a vehicle due to the rural location of the school.
Competitive daily rate of £110
Working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with an early finish at 2:00 PM on Fridays.
