About the Role
At Cyclone, our Field Engineers work across a wide range of technologies, from networking and M365 to cloud services and server infrastructure. You’ll gain hands‑on experience across the tech spectrum, supported by a skilled team of Senior Engineers and Solution Specialists who are committed to delivering the right outcomes for our customers every time.

What you will do
Our Field Engineers operate within Cyclone’s established support frameworks to deliver consistent, stable, and reliable IT infrastructure, ensuring every customer enjoys a seamless and enhanced experience.
Your primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Respond to incidents and requests logged by customers and provide support with escalations to a successful outcome.
Management of problems to resolution covering software, hardware and infrastructure as defined by potential service level agreements and expectation with Cyclone and its customers.
Incident and Service Request Management following standard incident progression and processes.
Undertakes onsite support for Cyclone customers.
Assist with deploying and implementing other services and projects as required by Cyclone customers and team.
What you will bring
We expect our engineers to have a can‑do attitude and go over and above to help our customers achieve the right technology solution for their needs, as well as:
2-3 years previous experience working within a medium to large network.
Tertiary ICT/computer qualifications or equivalent experience.
Good problem‑solving abilities with an ability to communicate in clear, easy to understand terms.
Basic hardware, network and software support.
Good knowledge of Microsoft and/or Google productivity environments.
An ability to work as part of a large team while taking responsibility for your work.
