Job Title: Production Controller
Location: Cowes, Isle of Wight
Salary: Circa £30,000 depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
* Achieving the timely release of Production/Repair Orders
* Reviewing and actioning MRP Error Exceptions Messages and data hygiene reports and support Production Reviews
* Supporting the Engineering Change Process and Non-Conformance process
* Creating outbound delivery documentation ensuring compliance through the export control System
* Interfacing with other teams/organisations to provide a seamless service
* Providing a flexible approach to enable support throughout the Logistics function to meet business requirements
* Reviewing and proposing Master Production Schedule Changes, which will involve liaison with Key functions within the Business, Projects, Procurement, Engineering and Manufacturing
Your skills and experiences:
* Be PC literate and competent with Microsoft Excel and able to use various systems
* Hold awareness of general H&S/Environmental regulations and safe working practices
* Experience using an ERP such as SAP would be advantageous

The Production Controller team:
The Production Control team consists of 8 Controllers including this position. Our controllers are involved in every step of the build process, providing support to the manufacturing functions to ensure requirements are met. Production Control interact with every department within BAE Systems, interfacing with Procurement, Projects, Stores, Manufacturing, Engineering and more. It’s a fast paced, dynamic environment which requires good communication, problem solving and planning.
Our workplace in Cowes is an easily accessible commute from Southampton with a regular foot passenger ferry and BAE shuttle service from the ferry terminal to site.
