As Contracts Manager, you will be a strategic partner to Business Development, Site Operations, and Legal teams across EMEA and APAC. You’ll lead the negotiation and execution of customer contracts, ensuring alignment with Catalent’s commercial goals and legal standards while driving growth and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

1. Negotiate customer contracts in partnership with Business Development, Legal and other functional leads to achieve timely deal closure and support business growth
2. Act as the lead on negotiations with customers on commercial contracting terms
3. Assess and mitigate contractual risks, recommending language that supports business objectives.
4. Ensure contracts reflect company priorities and comply with legal and organisational policies and procedures.
5. Maintain accurate records and tracking of contract status and progress.
6. Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to enhancing customer experience.
7. Liaise with internal and external legal counsel as needed

Position Requirements

8. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field.
9. Proven experience negotiating contracts with senior stakeholders.
10. 5 years’ experience working directly with customers and managing contract-related discussions.
11. Strong understanding of commercial contract terms in both Europe and the US.
12. Pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus, but not essential.
13. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
14. Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively, both verbally and in writing.
