Your new role
1. Manage an annual budget focused on 75% new business and 25% existing accounts.
2. Identify, engage, and convert potential customers into long-term partners.
3. Promote the organisation’s fast-paced, high-quality manufacturing capabilities.
4. Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to meet volume and contribution targets.
5. Produce accurate monthly forecasts and maximise growth opportunities.
6. Attend trade shows and networking events to build relationships and attract new business.
7. Support the Head of Sales on cross-functional projects.
8. Execute sales activities that enhance customer relationships and drive new business.
What you'll need to succeed
9. Previous experience in a Business Development or Account Manager role within contract manufacturing
10. Proven track record in attracting and converting profitable new business.
11. Experience with dry powder products is preferred.
12. Strongmunication and presentation skills.
13. Deep understanding of the end-to-end sales process.
14. Project management experience with a focus on successful oues.
15. Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
16. Organised, detail-oriented, andmercially minded.
17. Professional, collaborative, and solutions-focused with a hands-on, can-do attitude.
What you'll get in return
The salary for this role is £60,000, including a 10% bonus based on performance. You must be located in the Staffordshire area and be willing to visit clients across the UK. Fuel expenses are covered.
