D365 Support Engineer (F&O)
£60,000-65,000 + up to 5% bonus
Maidenhead (hybrid, 2-3 days in 2-3 at home)
My Product Path are partnered with a global life safety organisation in Maidenhead to recruit a proactive and technically skilled D365 F&O support Engineer to join their Business Applications team. This role is pivotal in maintaining the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain environment. You will act as a key escalation point for BAU support, contribute to integration projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the platform meets evolving business needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor and maintain the D365 F&O environment, ensuring system stability and performance
* Troubleshoot and resolve functional and technical issues, escalating to Microsoft or partners when necessary.
* Provide first and where possible second-line support to end users, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests.
* Log, track, and manage support tickets using the internal platform, ensuring SLAs are met.
* Deliver hands-on support and guidance to users across finance, operations, and supply chain functions
* Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventative measures to reduce recurring issues.
* Support environment updates, planned maintenance, and release cycles.
* Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance within the D365 platform.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors on integration and enhancement projects.
* Maintain documentation for configurations, workflows, and support processes.
* Provide user training and support for D365F&SC modules and related Power Platform tools
* Participate in UAT, SIT, and regression testing for new features and updates
Your background:
* Proven experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain in a multi-entity environment
* Understanding of D365 security roles, workflows, and user management
* Familiarity with Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps).
* Experience with Azure DevOps and LCS (Lifecycle Services).
* Ability to analyse and support the resolution of integration issues (e.g., Lazernet,
* ISVs like Avalara or Shipping Connect)
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable Qualifications
* Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals (Finance and Operations Apps
* – MB-920)
* Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or DevOps Engineer Expert.
* Familiarity with ITIL or structured support frameworks.
