Service Users
Young People with learning disabilities, Autism, epilepsy, and associated behaviours (including non-verbal communication).
Qualifications Required
* Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care (essential).
* Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (preferred or enrol within 6 months of starting).
Experience
* At least 2 years in residential care of children and 1 year in a supervisory role.
* Experience: At least 2 years in residential childcare, including 1 year in a supervisory role within the last 5 years.
Knowledge & Skills
* Thorough understanding of Quality Standards, SCCIF, childcare legislation, and regulatory requirements.
* Proficiency in planning, organising, budget control, resource allocation, and team leadership.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Trauma-informed approaches and managing challenging behaviours.
* Full UK driving licence required.
