We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate dispensing of medications and providing exceptional patient care. Duties
* Accurately dispense medications as per prescriptions, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
* Provide guidance to patients regarding medication administration, including dosage instructions and potential side effects.
* Maintain an organised inventory of medications, ensuring that stock levels are monitored and replenished as necessary.
* Assist in the preparation of medication orders and manage the labelling of prescriptions.
* Collaborate with pharmacists to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to prescriptions.
* Offer excellent patient care by addressing inquiries and providing support for medication-related concerns.
* Ensure that all pharmacy operations adhere to health and safety standards, maintaining a clean and organised workspace.
Skills
* Proficient in medication administration techniques and practices.
* Strong background in patient care, demonstrating empathy and effective communication skills.
* Previous experience as a pharmacy technician is advantageous but not mandatory.
* Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately under pressure.
* Strong organisational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
