CSA Senior Project Manager – Data Centre
My client is a first-generation construction company with operations across Ireland, UK and Northern Europe. We specialize in Critical Environments such as Data Centres, Life Sciences, Aviation, High Value Manufacturing and Critical Logistics.
They are currently seeking experienced and talented Senior Project Managers specialised in Building Experience to join our high performing project team in London.

Project Details - £230M 9 Storey New Build Data Centre:
This project will be completed in a phased approach. The works will include the main building works, including but not limited to - Large diameter pile installation, ground beam substructure and pile caps, heavy structural steel frame - 9 floors, composite cladding and outer rainscreen, 2No. precast concrete central core areas, MEP infrastructure and full fitout of data halls on Level 1 & 2 with associated plant. Bridge to existing campus north building and the construction of a single-storey security gate house.
Purpose of Role
As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects from conception to completion ensuring that your project team deliver on time and on budget to the highest standard of quality, safety & client satisfaction.
Role Responsibilities
Develop and update the construction programme with the Contracts Manager and ensure your project meets key milestones
Determine staff resources for your project and communicate effectively with your team.
Implement Safety System and establish an excellent safety culture on your project.
Manage project quality over the lifecycle and ensure build quality meets expectations.
Ensure project costs are managed and prelims / packages are tightly controlled.
Work with the commercial team to deliver agreed commercial objectives for your project.
Maintain positive relationships with the client team; keep them informed of claims & delays.
The Candidate
Third level qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
8+ years construction experience with structural and civil building work.
Data Centre experience desirable.
Ability to effectively manage and foster high performing teams.
Demonstrated ability to plan & deliver a complex project
Strong numeracy and report writing skills
Ability to build & maintain effective relationships with all stakeholders
Understands commercial realities; proposes cost-effective solutions
Computer literate and familiar with MS office, project, (or similar scheduling package)
