Health & Safety Manager Energy Projects (Civil Engineering)

Are you an experienced Health & Safety professional looking to take the lead in a high-growth sector? Were seeking a Health & Safety Manager to oversee HSQE matters across our expanding portfolio of energy projects in the civil engineering sector. This is a national role with travel, offering the chance to influence safety culture and project delivery across the UK.
About the Business Unit
Youll join a team of specialist SHEQ professionals supporting a diverse range of projects and contracts nationwide. Our HSQE team combines geographical and technical expertise, providing a strong platform for learning, collaboration, and career growth.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Head of Health & Safety, you will:
Lead all Health & Safety aspects across energy projects, from pre-qualification and tendering to contract delivery and completion.
Conduct site safety inspections and ensure corrective actions are effectively implemented.
Liaise with clients, multiple stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to maintain compliance and promote best practices.
Investigate accidents and incidents, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
Facilitate H&S meetings, provide in-house training, and support the delivery of a consistent H&S approach across the business.
Requirements
Proven Health & Safety management experience in civil engineering, energy, or utility projects.
Relevant H&S qualification (Degree/Diploma/HNC/HND)
Chartered status or working towards IOSH chartered status
Experience managing multiple sites and stakeholders nationwide
