Overview
Redfern Group Limited is seeking a reliable and experienced Bookkeeper to support our day-to-day financial operations. This role involves maintaining accurate records using QuickBooks, with a transition to Sage 50 Accounts. The Bookkeeper will handle a variety of accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable and bank reconciliations.
Responsibilities
* Record and reconcile financial transactions in QuickBooks and Sage 50 Accounts
* Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoicing and collections
* Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are recorded accurately
* Manage invoices and expenses
* Assist with payroll processing and related reporting requirements
* Maintain accurate financial records for the accountant
Requirements
* Proven experience in bookkeeping
* Record and reconcile financial transactions in QuickBooks and Sage 50 Accounts
* Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoicing and collections
* Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are recorded accurately
* Manage invoices and expenses
* Assist with payroll processing and related reporting requirements
* Maintain accurate financial records for the accountant
* Strong working knowledge of CIS and PAYE
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
