About the Role
You'll drive revenue growth by articulating event value propositions effectively. Your role involves engaging customers across various channels to increase order value, nurturing global relationships, and identifying revenue opportunities. Collaboration with all business functions, accurate reporting, and adaptability to change are crucial. We seek a highly motivated, adaptable individual with great communication skills and a knack for sales strategy and digital engagement. While event experience is beneficial, your drive to succeed is paramount.
Responsibilities
* Articulating the value proposition for events to effectively sell solutions to exceed revenue targets
* Planning and executing quality customer engagement through phone, social media, virtual meetings, face to face activity. Promoting services and increase average order value
* Maintaining and develop relationships with key customers and prospects globally
* Winning new business from competitors and other sources
* Identifying opportunities to grow revenue streams providing added value to customers
* Collaborating with all relevant business functions locally and globally
* Reporting activity, account planning, maintaining records on Salesforce.com and forecasting accurately
Requirements
* Show a high level of energy, and competitiveness, with a desire to learn and develop new skills
* Be self-motivated to succeed in their career and willing to work hard to achieve this
* Able to adapt to a fast-changing environment and reacts well to constant change
* Be a creative problem solver who is curious about everything and willing to ask questions.
* Be well-versed in creating and developing sales strategies that deliver proven customer benefits
* Deliver excellent communication skills in both verbal and written form. And the ability to collaborate, influence and manage remotely to work with other business functions and geographies
* Be experienced at building a digital presence and ability to use digital tools to engage with your target market
* Experience in conferences or business events is advantageous but not essential
