Are you a handyperson? A practical powerhouse who carries tools in case of an emergency? Can you spot a maintenance problem before it even becomes one?
You’ll make Locke feel like home by keeping our building and apartments looking fresh, so our guests feel comfortable, relaxed, and cared for. Reporting to the Head of Facilities, with a dotted line to the General Manager, you’ll oversee services, repairs, painting, and upkeep of apartments to high standards.
What you’ll need:
1. Human-led leadership skills and experience managing a team
2. Ideally plumbing, gas, and electrical trade qualifications
3. Ideally experience of launching a new building
4. Intuitive customer service
5. Natural influencing skills with a knack for managing expectations
6. Reliable decision-making
7. Confidence to act quickly and take smart risks based on insight
8. Strong grasp of spoken and written English
9. Impeccable attention to detail
10. Rock-solid time management
11. Flexible approach and a can-do attitude
12. Confidence using IT systems and software (including Microsoft Office)
