Teaching Personnel are seeking a proactive, reliable, and enthusiastic Secondary Cover Supervisor for a school based in Stoke-on-Trent. This is an OFSTED rated ‘Good’ school so they are looking for someone who can maintain a positive learning environment in the absence of the class teacher. About the role: Start-date: 2 nd June Opportunity to earn £90-£120 per day (dependent on experience) The school is in a great location with excellent transport links across Stoke and Newcastle-under-Lyme. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the pre-set work is completed to a high standard as well as maintaining behaviour standards, following the schools policy. You may cover a variety of subjects with Years 7-11, or you may have subject specific days. What we’re looking for: Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential for this role Confident classroom presence with good knowledge of behaviour management techniques Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students and staff A proactive and positive mindset This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to start a career in teaching and gain further classroom experience.
