SEND Teacher
Location: Hartlepool, North East
Salary: £120 – £220 per day (dependent on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
GSL Education are currently seeking a committed and passionate SEND Teacher to work within supportive mainstream and specialist school settings across Hartlepool. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated educator who is driven to support pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) to achieve positive learning outcomes.

The Role
As a SEND Teacher, you will:
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to meet individual SEND needs
* Support pupils with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties
* Create a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment
* Contribute to EHCP reviews and the development of individual learning plans
* Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, and external professionals
* Monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies to maximise engagement and achievement

The Ideal Candidate
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification
* Has experience teaching pupils with SEND in mainstream and/or specialist settings
* Demonstrates strong differentiation and behaviour management skills
* Is patient, empathetic, resilient, and passionate about inclusive education
* Has a clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
